A contracted Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in Kenner, LA, serving a K-12 school setting from the start date ASAP through May 21, 2026. This onsite role supports a caseload primarily consisting of PreK-8th grade students, with a typical caseload size of 50-60.
Key responsibilities include providing speech-language evaluations, therapy, and progress monitoring for students. The caseload requires effective communication and collaboration with educators and families to support student development. The position is open to Certified Fellows (CFs) and requires onsite presence for direct service delivery.
Qualifications:
- Valid SLP certification, preferably with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
- Experience working as an SLP in a school setting, particularly with K-8 student populations
- Ability to manage a caseload of 50-60 students effectively
- Strong skills in evaluation, treatment planning, and implementation of speech and language services
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with school teams and families
